Advice That Will Always Hold True

Blog Post created by David Feldman Champion on Oct 19, 2016

Time is precious, use it wisely.

Remember time is the one thing you can never get back.  If you look at it as an asset, you can donate it, spend it, or waste it.  The thing is… not matter what you do with it, once it passes it’s gone.

Always do the right thing.

Doing what you know to be right and ethical is always the best decision.  It will always work out better in the end, and you can go to bed at night knowing that no matter what happens, you stood for what’s right.

Don't worry what other people think.

Worrying what others think about us is one of the greatest hindrances to our success.  The truth is, most people aren’t paying any attention anyway — they are only paying attention to themselves.  Don’t let what someone else thinks keep you from your dreams.

When in doubt, listen.

If we all listened a little more and talked a little less, there would be much more understanding and decency in the world.  You’ll be surprised what you learn when you stop and listen instead of waiting for your turn to talk.

Don’t forget to ask.

The saying goes something like this, “If you don't ask, the answer is always 'no'.”  Or said another way, “The squeaky wheel gets the oil.” The fact of the matter is, if you want something, ask for it!

Reward only comes with risk.

Whether it’s a new career path, going for a promotion, or starting your own company, nothing good in life comes without first taking a step into the unknown.  Each of us live life a little too safe.
