I wanted to share this blog from Kristin Robertson, president of Brio Leadership. Kristin points out that "overt gender discrimination is now illegal and increasingly uncommon", but "unconscious gender bias is pervasive and embedded in the systems, structures and cultures of most of our organizations."
One of Kristin's recommendation is to get a coach to discern your purpose, values & strengths and what is holding you back. I was fortunate enough to win a coaching session with Kristin (at a WEN luncheon) and found her insights and encouragement to be invaluable.
